How Bee Pollen is produced?

A combined effort of flowers and bees helps to produce the source of nutritional bee products such as bee pollen. Bees in search of their food fly from one flower to another, which aids in pollination and reproduce the plant species. They easily stick the tiny grains of pollen on their body as they carry positive static charge through flying rapidly in the air. By efficiently using the hair-like structure in their hind legs, they pack the pollen in packets.

Those worker honeybees use those small pellets to transport pollen to the hive. Then they store those pellets of bee pollen inside the chambers of the hive which is used as a primary source of food. Like the other honeybee products, it also consists of nutrients like protein, vitamin, minerals, and other bioactive components.

When the pollen is recently brought into the hive, it is high in moisture and protein. Honeybees make beebread by combining the major part of bee pollen and minor part of honey, inside the honeycomb; when the procedure is done, the bees caped the honeycomb with wax to preserve it for future use.
